Mamangam is a Malayalam historical epic action drama directed by M. Padmakumar, set against the backdrop of the legendary Mamankam festival held on the banks of the Bharathapuzha River in medieval Kerala. The film follows the courageous Chaver warriors, who willingly sacrifice their lives in a heroic attempt to overthrow the tyrannical ruler of the Zamorin of Kozhikode and restore justice to their land.
